American Museum of Natural History Studies

These studies, all on toned 19” x 25” Strathmore charcoal paper, were created during two hour sessions
at the American Museum of Natural History, in a program in which artists have access after public hours.

Working with the taxidermied specimens, dioramas, skeletal and fossil remains, of these now inanimate
"objects," my quest is always to re-infuse the subjects with their lost vitality.
